Our first week consists of a special “family recipe” we were sent in. I don’t think they thought we would put it up, but we love the simple things in life. So, if you ever wanted to make beans on toast but were a little anxious about the complexity of it, below is a simple outline of how you can create your very own gourmet beans on toast meal!
BEANS ON TOAST by Brian Cassidy
- Regular sandwich bread
- Butter or margarine
- Beans (try Heinz beans in tomato sauce)
- HP sauce (any brown sauce will do though)
Step 1. Open your can of beans and pour them into a bowl.
Step 2. Heat the beans in the microwave for 1 minute.
Step 3. While the beans heat up, toast your bread for however long you want.
Step 4. When the toast is ready, put a little bit of butter on it.
Step 5. Evenly spoon the beans on the toast.
Step 6. Add your desired amount of HP sauce on the beans and toast.
Step 7 . Enjoy!
